Embla is a voice-controlled assistant application for smartphones. You can speak to Embla in Icelandic, ask her questions, and she'll respond promptly. Embla provides, among other things, information directly from various companies, institutions, and partners.
Overall, Embla can provide information about people and events, weather, public transportation, dates, geography, news, TV schedules, store opening hours, simple calculations, currency exchange rates, and much more.
Embla is developed by the Icelandic language technology company Miðeind ehf. It is free to use, contains no advertisements, and does not collect personal information. Embla's functionality is based on the open-source language technology software Greynir.
